GUAVA / EQUIPMENT
Seed & skin residue handling for guava processing
Keep retained seeds, skin and fibre visible, measurable and separate from the clean pulp route.
- INPUT
- Residue from the primary pulper and any subsequent finishing stage.
- OUTPUT
- Identified side streams for sampling and the agreed disposal or recovery destination.
Define the selection inputs
| Parameter | What the proposal needs |
|---|---|
| Discharge behaviour | Check bridging, drainage, pulp retention and intermittent overload. |
| Mass accounting | Record container tare and retained free liquid before comparing tests. |
| Downstream destination | Define collection frequency and handling rules without assuming a food or feed use. |
Processing duty
Keep retained seeds, skin and fibre visible, measurable and separate from the clean pulp route.
Structure and working boundary
Independent outlets, covered collection or conveying and safe sample access. Separate first-stage and finisher residues during trials.
Cleaning and maintenance
Avoid inaccessible build-up and cross-traffic near open pulp. Include drainage and cleaning access along the whole side-stream route.
Installation interfaces
Outlet elevation, bins/conveyors, effluent and a location for safe sampling.
Selection limit
Residue reuse requires its own quality and regulatory assessment; this line does not establish that suitability.
