GUAVA / PROJECT KNOWLEDGE
Give guava viscosity a measurement condition
Include temperature, instrument, shear or speed and time with guava pulp viscosity before using it for transfer or heat-treatment selection.
A value needs a method
Record viscosity with the temperature, instrument configuration, shear/speed and measurement duration. A reading from one method is not automatically interchangeable with a reading from another.
Use the actual product history
Pectin contributes to guava pulp structure and flow behaviour; changes during processing can alter viscosity. Fibre content, solids, previous finishing, aeration, temperature and formulation also matter. Describe the sample used rather than treating a single value as a permanent property of all guava pulp.
Connect the record to the duty
For a pump or heat exchanger, also supply flow boundary, pipe/equipment layout and the product particle description. The trial sheet stores conditions together but does not size a pump or validate a thermal process.
