Keep the intended fruit body
Specify the body, visible fibre and hard-particle criteria independently. Primary separation must be assessed against those requirements even when the product is deliberately pulpy.
Choose finishing for a stated reason
Some duties require a second refinement stage; others need to preserve a fuller body. Decide from matched product/residue trials, not from a generic rule that every line needs the finest available screen.
Define the outgoing pulp
Record composition, flow basis, holding, preservation and package. If another plant formulates the final drink, identify the handover specification rather than treating the outgoing pulp as a finished beverage.
