Select guava equipment by the separation duty
Compare primary pulping, finishing and downstream handling against seed integrity, texture, throughput and maintenance needs.
Choose a criterion before a screen
Describe the hard-particle and fibre acceptance method, sample size and target use. A smoother-looking sample can still contain an unacceptable hard fragment; visual inspection alone may not represent the agreed requirement.
Compare matched trials
Keep lot, feed condition and measurement boundary consistent when comparing settings. Record product and residue, throughput, stoppages and screen condition. A higher recovered mass is not automatically better if it misses texture or seed criteria.
Include access and interfaces
A machine that is difficult to inspect, drain or connect may cost more operating time than its nominal throughput suggests. Compare changeover access, safe screen removal, spare wear parts and side-stream handling alongside the process result.
