Compare texture and residue with measured throughput; a smaller screen is not automatically better.

Make the finer target testable

Write the relevant particle/fibre and sensory acceptance method before trying a smaller aperture. Screen opening is one trial input, not the promised outcome.

Include throughput and residue

Compare screen loading, accepted product and rejected mass using a complete measurement boundary. A visually finer sample may not deliver the required operating duty.

Choose from evidence

Retain the coarser reference and the candidate result. Select the configuration that meets the whole specification rather than ranking screens by opening size alone.
