GUAVA / PROJECT KNOWLEDGE

Choose the guava product boundary

Compare guava pulp, refined puree and formulated beverage base before defining finishing, treatment and packaging.

01

Start at the product, then trace back

Pulp and puree names do not, by themselves, specify acceptable hard particles, fibres or flow behaviour. Write a measurable product description and identify the downstream use. A beverage-base project adds a separate recipe boundary after fruit separation.

02

One fruit stream, different acceptance criteria

The same incoming lot can be evaluated against more than one texture brief, but each trial needs its own product and residue results. Retaining body, removing long fibres and controlling gritty particles are distinct decisions.

03

Define what the line includes

A receiving-to-bulk-puree project is different from a project that also doses water, ingredients and retail packs. Mark the handover points so throughput and utility proposals use the correct product basis.

01

Guava pulp

Keep a defined fruit body after controlled seed and residue separation.

02

Refined guava puree

Agree the fibre and gritty-particle criteria before choosing a finishing duty.

03

Formulated beverage base

Define fruit fraction, added water and ingredients beyond the pulp-line boundary.
