EQUIPMENT SELECTION GUIDE

CIP Circuits and Pulper Screen Cleaning

Plan circuit cleaning and direct screen inspection separately in a guava processing line, including tanks, thermal paths and retained fibre.

01

Separate closed circuits from accessible machinery

A selected CIP unit supports circulation through connected product circuits. Exposed fruit conveyors, pulper working housings and retained fibres may need direct access and inspection. Do not assume one circulation route cleans every machine in the line.

02

Define each return and drain

Identify valves, tank outlets, low points and cleaning returns. Include the thermal and filling paths within their agreed interfaces. Circuit length, flow and retained material matter when selecting and checking the cleaning arrangement.

03

Inspect seed and fibre retention

Stop and isolate the pulper before opening its working housings. Check screens, seals and residue passages under the equipment instructions. A rinse alone does not demonstrate removal of trapped fibrous material.

04

Discuss the whole cleanout boundary

Provide the product range, changeover pattern and proposed piping. Cleaning conditions and verification are established on the installed circuit. Keep direct-access tasks, circulation tasks and their responsibilities visible in the equipment schedule.
