EQUIPMENT SELECTION GUIDE

Selecting a Double-Stage Guava Pulper

Select a two-stage guava pulper/refiner using fruit preparation, seed and fibre criteria, screen choice, family duty and downstream connections.

01

Specify preparation and loading

Name the fruit variety or supply lot, maturity and feeding condition. Direct prepared fruit, a tested crusher route and optional preconditioning can load the pulper differently. Stable loading is part of the selection rather than an assumption made from the machine name.

02

Define two product criteria

Describe acceptable hard particles and desired fibre or body separately, with the sample and assessment method. A smooth appearance alone does not establish the seed-fragment criterion. Observe both the recovered pulp and retained residue when comparing settings.

03

Read the DJ family range at the correct boundary

The published DJ family covers capacity and drive combinations, with a screen range of 0.4–1.5 mm. These are general family references. The equipment photograph does not establish a specific listed model, and guava operating duty must be assessed with the actual feed and acceptance criteria.

04

Include access and outlet connections

Make room for safe screen removal at both working housings. Keep residue outlets free and product transfer accessible. Include useful downstream buffer, sample access and cleaning arrangements when requesting a pulper proposal.
