EQUIPMENT SELECTION GUIDE

Choosing a Thermal System for Guava Pulp

Specify a tubular guava pulp treatment system using viscosity, particles, flow, product passage, holding duty and the filling interface.

01

Describe the product at operating conditions

Provide the product or recipe, viscosity measurement method and temperature, fibre and particle condition, and planned flow. A water-flow figure does not establish the pressure loss or heating performance of guava pulp.

02

Match the passage and holding arrangement

Product passage, heat-transfer area and allowable pressure loss work together. Heating, holding and cooling must be coordinated with controlled flow. The exterior straight pipe layout does not identify every internal passage detail.

03

Define preservation with the package route

Time and temperature depend on the product and intended preservation process. Coordinate them with the bag fitment, filling condition and interfaces. Generic temperature ranges should not be used as a finished-product shelf-life promise.

04

Include changes and interruptions

The proposal should identify startup, product change, filling interruptions, utility services and circuit cleaning. Share available heating/cooling services and any existing transfer or filler arrangement to make the treatment scope practical.
